Hardware Test Engineer
- Val della Torre, Torino
- Tempo indeterminato
- Full time
- Design and implement hardware test plans for complex mechatronic systems (e.g., robots, actuators, thermal modules, sensors).
- Apply structured hardware testing methodologies (e.g., functional, boundary, stress testing, black-/white-box testing) to prototypes and pre-series, interpreting results to support project improvement.
- Collaborate closely with electronics and mechanical design teams in the definition and optimization of mechatronic solutions, providing technical feedback from testing activities and supporting root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Analyze and validate interactions among electrical, mechanical, and software components (e.g., sensors, actuators, motor controllers).
- Perform measurements on analog and digital electrical signals using laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- Contribute to the definition and optimization of structured testing methodologies; design and implement test benches and procedures (manual and automated) for automation systems throughout the development cycle (prototype → validation → industrialization).
- Conduct environmental, durability, and regulatory compliance tests to assess system robustness and reliability.
- Draft technical test documentation, including plans, protocols, reports, and non-conformance records.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes by proposing tools, solutions, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure traceability of tests, repeatability of measurements, and compliance with product quality standards
