Come join the Inpeco team and innovate with us!PositionWe are looking for an experienced Firmware Test Engineer to join our "AP-Storage & Slides Automation" team in Val della Torre (TO). The selected candidate will play a key role in the firmware testing process, working within a multidisciplinary team focused on cutting-edge automation technologies.As an experienced tester you will be involved in the firmware testing activities of our systems and your contribution will be essential to achieving projects and team goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate, execute and document tests at firmware/software component level;
  • Write and run automated tests;
  • Cooperate to design products with high focus on robustness, re-usability, serviceability and maintainability of the solutions, driving end-to-end system verification test campaigns;
  • Contributing with technical feedback from test activities supporting root cause analysis and problem solving on product issues;
  • Cooperate with members of a multidisciplinary team in order to deliver reliable and robust products;
RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with the following skills:
  • Experience in writing and executing automated tests (Knowledge of C#, Pyhton and Object Oriented programming), formulating test analysis and test reports;
  • Ability to pick up new technologies easily and quickly;
  • Open mindedness and ability to manage the process of change with all its implication on systems;
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable, able to work in a rapidly changing environment;
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge on Agile practices;
  • Knowledge of CANOpen communication protocol;
  • Experience with test frameworks (such as Robot Framework) in a CI/CD environment - Jenkins, Bitbucket, Kubernetes;
  • Knowledge of GIT or other software versioning applications;
