Saipem is “One Company” organized into five business lines - Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solution.As Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will join our Department/Function MEC, in the business line ENCAR, conducting the following activities:
  • Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
  • Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation
  • Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies
  • Execute Vendors’ Documents follow-up
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment
  • Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management, procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction) to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project designs
QUALIFICATION: Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldKNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Professional English LevelLABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent ContractYEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and design of rotating equipment in the oil and gas industryIT SKILLS: Proficient in MS Office ToolsSOFT SKILLS: Excellent problem-solving, effective communication and teamwork skillsLOCATION: MilanMOBILITY:
  • Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month)
  • Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year
