Job DescriptionReporting to the Solutions Tech Support Manager, the Solutions Tech Support Engineer oversees technical support for IoT/Cloud applications deploying services to Partners and Customers in Retail (mainly), Healthcare, and (in case) Manufacturing and Transportation & Logistics markets.The Support covers remote/ on-site installations (pilots, beta-sites, post-sales), troubleshooting, documentation review, internal Lab setup and validation, demos, training courses (e.g. to Field Application Eng), license management, technical requirements' review.The Solutions Tech Support Engineer works closely with team members and cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Development and QA, to ensure effective support of software solutions. The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal colleagues and external technology partners.Main Responsibilities:Support Software Solutions Lifecycle:
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of on-premises, edge and cloud-based software solutions, including installation, security and day-to-day usage.
  • Provide field support for both back-end modules running on local servers or cloud environments and front-end functionalities.
  • Apply structured problem-solving approaches to address issues reported by users in the field.
  • Review test results and root cause analyses and resolve highly complex technical issues.
  • Proactively suggest new or enhanced features to increase the perceived value of the products.
  • Drive innovation by proposing ideas that may lead to the development of intellectual property related to the company's solutions.
Requirements:Education: Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;Languages: Italian, English (proficient written and spoken);Years of experience: At least 3 years of experience in technical support of complex software solutions;Experience: Demonstrated experience with complex on-premise and Cloud-based software solutions using Tomcat, MySQL, Java, Python, Azure. At least basic knowledge required for the following technologies: microservices, Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with DevOps tools: cloud-based DevOps are strong wishes. Microsoft Server and Linux competence on OS side.#LI-IC1
