- Management of the P&R activities aimed to obtain/maintain the NHS reimbursement in Italy for the products belonging to the Group portfolio in the General Medicine & Specialty Care area.
- Prepare and present national Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R) dossiers, coordinating input from Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Marketing teams.
- Manage the pricing and reimbursement process, coordinating internal contributors and ensuring full alignment with the global strategy (value proposition and pricing guidelines).
- Actively support the development of negotiation strategies and innovative Managed Access Agreements (MEAs).
- Interact with external vendors (consultants) for P&R related projects.
- Monitor and analyze changes in the external scenario and competitor dynamics, including pricing and reimbursement conditions and timings, to assess any P&R and market access impact from the external environment.
- Develop and manage projects that contribute to maximizing product value, in compliance with local regulations and internal processes.
- Analysis of the price and reimbursement scenario concerning new business opportunities under evaluation.
- Collaborate with national and international cross-functional teams.
- Coordination of activities related to pharmaceutical governance (evolution of the National Pharmaceutical Formulary, payback/clawback procedures, analysis of the evolution of regulations and procedures and their impact on pricing and reimbursement and market access scenario).
- University Degree in Life Sciences or Economics.
- A postgraduate degree/Master in Market Access, Health Policy or Health Economics is highly valued.
- At least 3 years of experience in P&R/Market Access departments, with cross-functional work in matrix organizations, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
- Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Strong ability to work with Excel spreadsheets and create PowerPoint presentations.
- Use of IT tools such as databases and management systems.
