- Develop relationships with all departments, the airports, hotels and any other internal customers and suppliers, as necessary
- Implement lost luggage procedures to ensure everything possible is done to retrieve missing luggage
- Implement delayed flight procedures if necessary
- Assist guests as they claim their luggage and assist them to the check-in counter when possible
- Ensure all guests luggage is identified and selected at the airport
- Ensure each piece of luggage is tagged correctly and transported to the airport or hotels in a safe and secure manner
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the hospitality programme and be aware of who to contact to receive more information
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the airports' operation including orientation, check in system, lost luggage procedure, emergency systems, etc.
- Ensure you understand the guest arrival system and you have all relevant guest information before arrival and departure
- Create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to welcome the guests to the programme
- Deal with enquiries and requests efficiently whilst remaining guest focused at all times
- Be pro-active in dealing with all enquiries and requests in order that each guest feels as if they are receiving personal attention
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Previous experience in a transport role or an airport role
- Excellent IT skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - confident using different platforms and devices
- Project management experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environment
- Flexible, enthusiastic, confident, outgoing
- Willing to roll sleeves up and get involved
- Passionate about sport, hospitality and delivery
- Able to work in a calm, kind and professional manner in a pressured environment
- Ability to prioritise a demanding workload
