  • Discuss the basic design of a new product with the R&D team;
  • Follow stylistic directions for making assigned patterns, ensuring proper fit for prototype execution;
  • Create drawings and rough patterns for prototyping stages, improving them for sample and production;
  • Carry out sdifects necessary for pattern development;
  • Determine pattern quantities, shapes, and sizes while minimizing material waste, and an optimization of them by ensuring developments for the entire size range;
  • Add pattern specifications to the computer and manage data sheets;
  • Identify the best technique for mass production of new collections;
  • Suggest improvements to existing designs.
RequisitiThe ideal candidate has the following characteristics:
  • Diploma or Degree in Design or similar;
  • At least 7/10 years of experience for a mid-senior level figure , 4/5 years for a junior level figure in outerwear design, preferably in the Technical and Sports, Outdoor, Motorcycle sectors;
  • Excellent knowledge of product and materials;
  • Knowledge of Size Development techniques;
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD (Gerber is a plus), Adobe Illustrator and other specific software;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Predisposition to team-working and listening;
  • Flexibility and problem solving;
  • Fluency in English.
