The Technical & Engineering division of Randstad Professionals, specialized in the search and selection of middle and senior management profiles, on behalf of a client company in Treviso, sportswear sector, is looking for a:APPAREL PATTERN MAKERThe person, strategic to the organization, will join the team reporting directly to the Team Leader.Specifically, (s)he will be in charge of:Discuss the basic design of a new product with the R&D team;Follow stylistic directions for making assigned patterns, ensuring proper fit for prototype execution;Create drawings and rough patterns for prototyping stages, improving them for sample and production;Carry out defects necessary for pattern development;Determine pattern quantities, shapes, and sizes while minimizing material waste, and an optimization of them by ensuring developments for the entire size range;Add pattern specifications to the computer and manage data sheets;Identify the best technique for mass production of new collections;Suggest improvements to existing designs;The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:Diploma or Degree in Design or similar;At least 7/10 years of experience for a mid-senior level figure , 4/5 years for a junior level figure in outerwear design, preferably in the Technical and Sports, Outdoor, Motorcycle sectors;Excellent knowledge of product and materials;Knowledge of Size Development techniques;Excellent knowledge of CAD (Gerber is a plus), Adobe Illustrator and other specific software;Ability to meet deadlines;Predisposition to team-working and listening;Flexibility and problem solving;Fluency in English.We want to meet dynamic, innovative people with strong problem solving skills, aptitude for teamwork and target orientation.Type of contract: Permanent contract.Location of the company: Treviso province.In accordance with current regulations, the job offer is intended for both genders (L. 903/77).
