Sector: Hyperscale Data Centres | Mission-Critical InfrastructureA leading European data centre delivery specialist is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan.This organisation delivers full turnkey mission-critical projects across Europe, working with global technology clients on some of the most technically complex and high-value construction programmes currently in development.As EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Safety Lead and wider site management team to ensure the highest standards of environmental, health, and safety compliance across all project activities.This is a site-based position offering long-term progression, exposure to flagship European projects, and an excellent overseas package.Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Management team and Site EHS Lead in day-to-day safety delivery
- Ensure full compliance with project Safety Management Systems and statutory legislation
- Review and monitor RAMS, Permit to Work systems, and Safe Plans of Action
- Maintain high standards of safety culture across subcontractors and site teams
- Carry out regular audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-ups
- Manage ongoing COSHH / hazardous substance control and reporting
- Maintain statutory inspection registers for tools, plant, and site equipment
- Coordinate and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
- Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and reporting
- Attend daily activity briefings and whiteboard planning meetings
- Support environmental initiatives including waste reduction and recycling compliance
- Promote proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement across site
- Degree or recognised qualification in Environmental Health & Safety
- Minimum 3+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects
- Data centre or mission-critical experience highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of current EHS legislation and best practice
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Process-driven mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
