- End-to-End OTC Ownership: Full accountability for the entire Order to Cash process, from initial quote generation through final cash collection.
- Process Optimization & Standardization: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, repeatable, and world-class OTC processes. Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve cash flow.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-10 OTC professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations (Delivery) to ensure seamless cross-functional operations and alignment on OTC strategies.
- Technology & Systems Leverage: Collaborate with IT to optimize the use of existing systems and identify opportunities for new technologies to improve OTC processes and reporting.
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the OTC cycle, providing regular reporting and insights to the CFO and other senior leaders.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the OTC process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Customer Experience: Drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience throughout the billing and collections process.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Order to Cash operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing teams of 5-10 people.
- Demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end OTC processes in a shared services environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of world-class, repeatable OTC processes and best practices.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant process improvement certifications are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in OTC-related technologies and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with Operations (Delivery).
