Syscons is a System Integrator boutique part of the Impresoft Group.Syscons helps customers compose diverse digital solutions, leading them to and through the Composable Enterprise, thus contributing to quicker adaptation to market dynamics.For our Milan, Turin and Naples offices, we are looking for an Integration Consultant with at least 2-3 years of experience who is eager to grow and actively contribute within our fast-growing Integration team, focused on helping customers manage, extend, and optimize their enterprise application integration ecosystems.About the Job:You will learn to deal with questions that sound like:
  • How can I manage, optimize and improve the current integration processes of a customer?
  • How can I connect systems and applications for exchanging data and information? Which technology should I use? Which security layer do I have to manage?
  • How to design and implement integration/orchestration processes using Enterprise Integration Platform like SAP Integration Suite?
  • How to extend standard functionalities of the listed EIP using custom development (Java, Groovy, …)?
  • How to design and implement APIs making the exchange of information between systems more flexible and efficient?
Responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Support Business/Functional resources in business process design
  • Collect integration requirements both from a functional and a technical perspective
  • Design integration/orchestration processes based on business and integration requirements
  • Implement designed integration/processes
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and solve issues related to integration process transmission
  • Train and support junior resources
  • Manage integration project from both team and P&L perspective
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or similar
  • 2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing integration processes
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office
  • Attitude for picking up technology quickly along with a desire to learn and progress
  • Desire to work in a team focused environment and support other team members with collaborative spirit
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, mastering new complex areas, able to find new solutions to solve problems
  • Fluency in English (at least C1).
Nice to Have:
  • SAP Integration Suite Certifications
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, Java/Groovy scripting.
  • General understanding of security topics (authorization, authentication, SSL, …)
  • Knowledge of Event Mesh or event-driven architecture is a plus
  • Knowledge of relational database management
  • General understanding of APIs LifeCycle fundamentals
  • General understanding of computer infrastructure/architecture topics
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP processes and architecture (ECC or S/4HANA)
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of other Integration platforms like Boomi, MuleSoft and TIBCO is considered a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Italian and English)
