As part of the DHL Group, you will be working with a global network of IRM colleagues and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities.Job Purpose:We are looking for a Senior Insurance Specialist to join our IRM team. In this role, you will provide advice and support on all insurance matters. You will manage the renewal of life and non-life insurance programs for all company divisions, subsidiaries, and associated companies.Your tasks:
  • Lead insurance renewals, prepare documents, collect and check data (revenues, insured values, fleet, headcounts), manage offers, approvals, premiums, and coverage.
  • Execute renewals with alignment to global timelines, including exposure collection (headcounts, wages), renewal notifications, and premium invoicing and collection.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance programs in Italy.
  • Support business units with insurance questions and coordinate with global teams.
  • Work with Legal, Procurement, Real Estate, HR, and other teams to review insurance requirements in contracts and agreements.
  • Organize and support property risk surveys on key company sites.
  • Manage employee benefit insurance programs, work with insurers, and ensure smooth claims processing.
  • Suggest ways to make insurance processes more efficient and improve satisfaction.
Your profile:
  • University degree and/or professional qualification in insurance or business management.
  • 10 years of experience in insurance within a global multinational company, broker, or in-house risk function.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with strict deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Customer-focused, able to understand needs and provide solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical content to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Strong skills in MS Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
