Join us - be part of our UPS critical Technology Supporting Team!The job:As a Global Technology Service Group (GTSG) Specialist, your job is to make sure all UPS technology works properly. You will deploy technology, support our internal and external customers, solve problems, and help improving the IT infrastructure.You’ll be based in Somaglia, one of Italy’s most important healthcare logistics hubs, but you’ll also give support to other UPS sites across the country where needed.Your work will also keep UPS Operations, relying on more and more technology, up and running and ensure that important shipments — including life-saving medical deliveries — are handled without delay.What's in for you:A full-time contract in a critical company technical functionA key role in a major healthcare and logistics environmentTraining, tools, and support to help you growA collaborative and respectful team cultureOpportunities to grow your career within UPSYour Main Tasks:Install, configure, and maintain UPS-approved IT equipment
(computers, printers, servers, scanners, etc.)Provide technical support for users — both hardware and softwareMaintain local networks and troubleshoot connection issuesCoordinate IT upgrades, replacements, and installationsSolve problems quickly or escalate to higher-level teams if neededVisit other UPS sites in Italy to support local projects or urgent needsDocument all work and follow UPS technology standardsHelp during audits and technical checksSupport communication tools (phones, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, etc.)Contribute to technology disaster recovery and business continuity plansWhy This Role MattersYou’re not just fixing computers — you’re helping keep essential services running. Whether it's a healthcare delivery in Somaglia or an external customer urgently requiring support, your technical role will be critical.What We Are Looking For:Customer Focus mindsetOrganised, precise, accountable approachA proactive, hands-on attitude and problem-solving mindset, along with Teamwork and a collaborative spiritHardware knowledge (computers and peripherals), Windows/Linux OS environment, Networking equipment. MS Office is the standard in use by any UPS employee, no programming or advanced SW knowledge required.Good communication skills, in Italian, and good spoken and written command of the English languageWillingness to travel within Italy along with car driving license, ability to take flightsExperience in IT support and systems installation is a plus. We use ServiceNow SMC (Service Management Centre), its knowledge and experience are a plusA computer science degree is a plusThis is a permanent, full-time role, 5 days per week in the office.Workplace:
Based in one of Italy’s largest healthcare logistics facilities, support also other UPS Italy sites. Flexibility in regards to travel, along with a driving license, is required.Employee Type:
