The Service Specialist for Enterprise Modernization in Europe is a senior subject matter expert responsible for technical excellence, solution integrity, and asset development within the service line. This hands-on role supports high-impact client engagements, contributes to pre-sales and solution design, and ensures the regional adoption and evolution of service-specific delivery frameworks, tools, and best practices. The Service Specialist brings deep expertise in modernization strategies and execution in large legacy systems modernization programs, serving as a trusted technical advisor to both clients and internal teams. This role is key to ensuring delivery quality, enabling service adoption, and evolving the technical maturity of the offering.Job responsibilities
  • Provides technical guidance on Enterprise Legacy Systems Modernization.
  • Supports delivery teams in solving complex client problems.
  • Contributes to solution design, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
  • Develops and refines service accelerators and reference architectures.
  • Mentors engineers and architects within the service domain.
  • Acts as a bridge between delivery teams and global service development.
  • Measures success by technical quality, asset adoption, and talent uplift.
  • Requires 10+ years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting.
  • Requires 3+ years in Enterprise Legacy Systems Modernization advisory.
  • Focuses on technical depth in modernization strategies and cloud architecture.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications in relevant platforms, tools, or frameworks for the Enterprise Legacy Systems Modernization domain.
  • Experience contributing to internal accelerators, open-source projects, or client-aligned IP development.
  • Familiarity with enterprise transformation programs and the consulting delivery lifecycle.
