This position is in support of the EMITS 2 Task Order Supporting USAREUR-AF Mission Partner ARS, located in Vicenza, Italy. This position is located OCONUS.Responsibilities:Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, implement, test, or evaluate systems; prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other tech documentationApplies systems engineering expertise to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource managementFunctions as a technical subject matter expert on systems engineering processes and tools and the systems, hardware, and software being supportedAnalyzes, designs, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements; assesses systems engineering and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and make recommendations that inform key technical decisionsAssesses emerging policies, technology, and best practices for applicability and implementation into networks, systems, hardware, and software to improve efficiency, effectiveness, security posture, and resiliencyDevelops, designs, and tests complex system solutions for classified and unclassified IT networks and communications systemsPerforms systems engineering analyses and uses the results, along with other engineering models, to draw conclusions and optimize performance, schedule, timing, or costsAnalyzes system requirements, designs, analysis, and verification and validation activities enabled by Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across the digital thread and the engineering lifecycleProvides systems integration and technical support to current and emerging communications and information systems architecture and technology platforms across multiple environments (e.g., NIPR, SIPR, MPE)Provides engineering expertise for migration and transition of systems, including from on-premises solutions to cloud-based solutionsProvides technical solutions to complex problems to resolve incidents and problems and improve the performance and reliability of C4 networks and systems that are evolving and undergoing modernizationProvides analysis to support reviews such as System Requirements Review (SRR) and System Functional Review (SFR), and performs engineering functions in support of experimentation, integration, and operationsDevelops and authors policies, procedures, guidelines, and TTPsPlans, coordinates, and facilitates the post-deployment SW sustainment and post-production SW sustainment requirements, management, and executionTroubleshoots and resolves system integration issues, and creates storage systems and maintains hardware as neededReviews and provides input to all governance documents as required and assists in the development of the technical solution in response to a baseline change requestAttends and participates in meetings to discuss new technologies, technology insertion projects, and modernization roadmapsPossesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignmentsEstablishes goals and plans that meet project objectivesPossesses domain and expert technical knowledgeMay supervise othersQualifications:Required:Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain an SCIBA/BS +13 years recent experienceCertification – 8140 - CISSO or GCIA or GCSA or GCLD or GICSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEPDemonstrates extensive expertise in systems engineering principles, with proven experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex IT networks and communications systems across classified and unclassified environments.Possesses comprehensive knowledge of MBSE, system integration, configuration management, and quality assurance testing, ensuring optimal performance and security across diverse technology platforms.Demonstrates expertise in network configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile and DevSecOps processes.Experience working with NIPR, SIPR, and MPE preferred. Exhibits mastery in conducting technical assessments; developing policies, procedures, and TTPs; and providing innovative solutions for evolving C4 networks undergoing modernization.Excels in troubleshooting complex integration issues; creating technical documentation, including change proposals; and leading systems requirements reviews.Commands proficiency in cloud migration strategies, post-deployment software sustainment, and emerging technologies implementation.Demonstrates skills in creating storage systems, maintaining hardware, and supporting experimentation and operations.Brings a track record of establishing project goals, supervising technical teams, and functioning as a subject matter expert across multiple complex work assignments in Government or military settings.Actively participates in discussions on technology insertion projects and contributes to modernization roadmaps.Requires seasoned Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert to lead and manage Enterprise Cybersecurity functions within EMITS 2 operations.TESA eligibleDesired:Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needsUnderstanding of Department of Defense Military standardsExperience with DoD IT security requirements-What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
