Job Description:Purpose of the job is to support CAE in the management of the events occured in service (Occurence Reports) which requires the preparation, modification and closure the related investigation reports. There reports undertake a process in different phases: following an initial release reporting the factual data, the investigation is started and a subsequent releases are issued along the investigation and at its closure.
Occurence Reports to be analyzed pertain to inconvenients on structures, systems (hydraulics, fuel, air conditioning, powerplant), avionics and electrical, rotors, transmissions. Inconvenient related to other areas like operation, flight, maintenance may occurs an require management with the same process.The required professional figure is the "OR Specialist", whose activity mainly consists of the following phases:
1) Classification, registration and management of the OR in the company and with the Authority (EASA / ENAC)
2) Coordination and interface with the technical areas for the preparation of the investigation report.
3) Coordination with the Continued Airworthiness Governance unit for the preparation of the pertinent risk assessments.
4) Compilation of service order in SAP with attached closure proposal to the Continuous Airworthiness Engineer (CAE).
The above will be divided into the main Technical Areas / Project Areas: Structures, Dynamic Systems, Systems, AvionicsUpon completion of the investigation, the function provides for the emission of a dedicated and specific report for each applicable OR (i.e. OR Sheet)
The OR specialist will also have to prepare the necessary documentation for participation in the periodic ART (Airworthiness Review Team) meetings. He will also have to support the Product Support Engineer (PSE) in the preparation of the Service Bulletins that may become necessary on case by case basis.REQUIREMENTS:It is desirable to seek a candidate who has already gained experience in the same or similar role within Leonardo Helicopters or in an aeronautical company.
The ability to interpret drawings, technical notes (such as failure analysis and certification reports) are considered essential skills. An average knowledge of the English language is required.
Soft skills such as communication skills, proactivity and an aptitude for investigation are also deemed necessary.
