KPMG Advisory offers consulting services to companies to assist them in business model transformation, process improvement and digitalization, risk analysis and management, and support in extraordinary finance transactions.Specifically, when you join the TMT (Technology, Media Entertainment & Telecommunication) team in Milan, you will work closely with market-leading companies in the telecommunications sector on innovative topics, supporting clients throughout their digital transformation journey within the specific context of telecommunications. This specialization offers the opportunity to work on nationally and internationally significant projects within the telecommunications industry, participating in key initiatives of change and improvement in the realm of digitalizing business operations.Specifically, you will:
  • Support the definition of business and growth strategies for TMT clients, through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, scenario assessment and identification of strategic priorities
  • Contribute to the design of target operating models and transformation roadmaps, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, operating implications and implementation choices
  • Develop business cases and strategic plans to assess new initiatives, investment priorities, operating model changes and adjacencies
  • Prepare executive-level materials for client management, translating complex analyses into clear recommendations and decision-making content
  • Support project delivery across strategic transformation initiatives, coordinating streams, stakeholders and key milestones
  • Strong technology literacy, with a solid understanding of key digital and telecom technologies and the ability to engage confidently with technology-related topics in a business and strategy context
  • Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex business issues, interpret quantitative and qualitative data, and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristicsThis is the perfect opportunity for you if you have:
  • Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Management or similar
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in TMT projects in a consulting company and/or a TMT company at the national and international level
  • Numerate, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and turn them into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and story lining skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, structured messages for senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to operate in high-intensity, intellectually demanding environments, with the judgement, analytical depth and client maturity required to address complex strategic topics
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive attitude in supporting proposal development, identifying client issues and contributing to new areas of work
  • Solid project management skills and ability to work across multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
  • Fluent to near-native English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; international study and/or work experience would be a strong plus
  • A strong interest in strategy consulting and in developing an in-depth understanding of the TMT industry, its business models, market dynamics and transformation challenges
