- Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy for each hotel and manage day-to-day yield operations.
- Perform daily pick-up analysis, make strategy adjustments, and provide comprehensive reporting.
- Conduct competitive benchmark studies and stay informed about market trends.
- Create and maintain a 13-month rolling demand calendar for effective planning.
- Develop pricing strategies tailored to the individuality of each hotel.
- Provide a weekly dynamic forecast, highlighting expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.
- Be responsible for assessing, analyzing, and pricing group business strategies.
- Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary reports with recommendations for long-term improvements.
- Ensure all related systems are correctly configured, validated, and operating at full capacity.
- Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department.
- Ensure hotel personnel are fully competent in using all systems effectively.
- Regularly verify the input and quality of data, including segmentation and denials tracking.
- Conduct quarterly property performance reviews and develop strategic and tactical action plans.
- Establish best practice standards, including competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modeling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management, inventory availability by channel, pricing control, and new pricing concepts.
- Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
- Inspire Hotel’s Heads of Departments to further embed a revenue management culture.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of achievement and determination to achieve goals and success.
- Possess ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes.
- Exhibit excellent analytical and numerical skills for rapid data analysis.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Possess good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
- Capable of developing positive relationships with 3rd parties and the hotel teams.
- Demonstrate the capacity to read situations, understand environments, and respond accordingly.
- Exhibit well-developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing, and supervisory management skills.
- Display a high level of motivation, determination, and commitment to excellence.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Italian and English is required; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Economic Studies.
- Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
- Knowledge of hotel technology, including PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, and Extranets.
