- Sales Performance Evaluation Reports - Create reports to assess sales performance and assist the Senior Category Manager in recommending improvements for category performance and profitability.
- Promotion and Trade Guidelines - Develop and present guidelines for promotions and trade strategies.
- Pricing Opportunities - Support the Senior Category Manager in identifying pricing opportunities within the market.
- PPA Project Recommendations - Provide analysis to recommend projects related to Price, Promotion, and Assortment (PPA).
- Decision-Making Analysis - Lead analysis to inform decision-making processes, particularly regarding mix and promotional optimization.
- Category Optimization and Tools Development - Collaborate with the Senior Category Manager to optimize category plans through price and promotion analysis; adapt tools aligned with European processes to meet Italian local requirements; Contribute to spreading knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) and relevant tools across the organization.
- Degree in Economics/Management/Marketing/Finance or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and P&L understanding.
- The ability to collaborate easily with the different functions (Sales, Category, Marketing, Finance, CBU) to achieve the objectives and to communicate & present clearly in both local languages (Italian) and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint), Internal and External Database sources (Nielsen, IRI/Circana).
