Our teams design, engineer, and build next-generation solutions to create a more agile, intelligent, and connected supply chain.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and backend engineering, eager to take ownership of complex domains and help us evolve a mission-critical product used by international clients, within a fast-growing product organization.Responsibilities

Service Engineering – Design and build scalable, observable backend services and APIs, with strong attention to reliability and performance.
Technical Leadership – Lead architectural and design decisions, break down complex initiatives into actionable work, and guide implementation across services while maintaining high engineering standards.
Ownership & Impact – Take ownership of critical domains from early design through delivery, continuously improving cost efficiency, maintainability, and developer experience.
Problem Solving – Tackle ambiguous, cross-cutting problems using data and metrics, proposing pragmatic solutions that balance speed, quality, and risk, also in a regulated context.
Engineering Excellence – Champion code quality, testing strategy, performance, security, and CI/CD best practices; elevate the team through reviews, shared standards, and automation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with the Product team, contribute to product definition, and translate business goals into clear technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in Java and the JVM (e.g. performance tuning, memory management), with solid production experience using frameworks such as Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, or Quarkus.
Strong system design skills: modeling domains, defining APIs and contracts, and making pragmatic trade-offs across scalability, reliability, and cost.
Proficiency with engineering fundamentals and tooling: automated testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, observability practices, and modern version control workflows.
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with Product team and other engineers to align on outcomes and iterate quickly.
Mentorship and growth mindset: supporting teammates’ development through pairing, coaching, and structured knowledge sharing, fostering autonomy and high standards.

Preferred Skills

Experience with native Android development (e.g. Kotlin/Java, Android SDK) and familiarity with integrating mobile clients with backend services.
