Job Description:We are currently seeking a Subcontracting and Estimating Engineer in INTERNSHIP, reporting directly to Section Head, to join our team based in our Rome offices, c/o Construction Department, Italy.About the role:

Preparation of cost estimate for construction subcontracting works, either during proposal/FEED or project phases, according to the specific proposal/project subcontracting strategy.
Bid and Award of Subcontracts for the execution of Construction works.

The role and tasks include the following main activities:

Participates in the proposal or subcontract development process;
Analyzes tender requirements;
Collects bill of quantities;
Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of call for bid, addendums, and tender clarifications;
Performs and deliver the Construction Cost estimate and benchmarking of construction costs;
Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders;
Performs preparation of Construction man-hours estimate;
Performs bid tabulation;
Implements the subcontracting management strategy of the project;
Performs negotiation and award the subcontracts;

Starting Date: 2nd quarter 2026About you:We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Graduated in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Energy, Chemical.
Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.
Teamwork attitude.
