Then you are the right person to join us as a Material Planning Leader in SaviglianoAs a Material Planning Leader you will be in charge in Supply Chain department with:Location: Savigliano (Italy)Role Overview:You will report to the Material Planning Manager and work in a collaborative environment with hundreds of colleagues across Supply Chain, Procurement and Supplier Quality.Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the Material Planning team, you will be responsible for:
  • Establishing and coordinating appropriate action plans in the event of a major crisis.
  • Collaborating with Material Planning and Procurement for supplier selection, escalation and delivery improvements by preventing crises and enhancing supplier delivery performance.
  • Ensuring suppliers can meet Alstom's needs regarding technical capability and capacity vs. workload.
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance with processes and tools defined by the Central Supply Chain team, including Light and Capacity Assessment, Reporting on SharePoint and appropriated Dashboard.
  • Facilitating root cause analyses and implementing sustainable corrective actions (Improvement and Safeguarding Plans).
  • Strengthening cooperation between various functions (Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain) to manage the least performing suppliers (TOP RED and RED).
About You:
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management (in Procurement, Supply Chain or Quality).
  • Strong leadership, rigor, responsiveness, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel (>50%).
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (ideally SAP).
It would be a plus if you have:
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, ability to perform a Value Stream Map).
  • Proven track record in conducting supplier assessment independently.
  • Green Belt certification or similar.
  • French speaker.
