
Material Planning Leader

As a member of the Material Planning team, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and coordinating appropriate action plans in the event of a major crisis.
- Collaborating with Material Planning and Procurement for supplier selection, escalation and delivery improvements by preventing crises and enhancing supplier delivery performance.
- Ensuring suppliers can meet Alstom's needs regarding technical capability and capacity vs. workload.
- Conducting audits to ensure compliance with processes and tools defined by the Central Supply Chain team, including Light and Capacity Assessment, Reporting on SharePoint and appropriated Dashboard.
- Facilitating root cause analyses and implementing sustainable corrective actions (Improvement and Safeguarding Plans).
- Strengthening cooperation between various functions (Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain) to manage the least performing suppliers (TOP RED and RED).
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management (in Procurement, Supply Chain or Quality).
- Strong leadership, rigor, responsiveness, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel (>50%).
- Knowledge of an ERP system (ideally SAP).
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, ability to perform a Value Stream Map).
- Proven track record in conducting supplier assessment independently.
- Green Belt certification or similar.
- French speaker.
