The Unit provides comprehensive histopathology services, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, imaging, and data analysis, and contributes to the development of protocols for novel stains and diverse biological specimens.Candidate will be primarily responsible for:
sample processing and preparation of tissue sections;
histochemical and immunohistochemical stainings;
in situ DNA/RNA hybridization assays;
digital acquisition of whole-slide scans and organization of the related datasets;
Qualification
Solid hands-on experience in histology and immunohistochemistry workflows, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and slide quality control;
Familiarity with digital pathology activities, including slide scanning, image archiving, annotation, and support for quantitative image analysis in research projects, will be considered a significant advantage;
Careful sample handling, accurate documentation, and a rigorous approach to laboratory work are essential;
