- Project Management: Oversee projects related to production applications, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical tools (Supplier Collaboration, Planning tools, etc.)
- Implementation: Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including software and vendor selection, deliverables (functional and technical analysis), project planning and monitoring, testing, validation, application upgrades, and system decommissioning to avoid obsolescence
- Vendor/Brand Relations: Manage relationships with vendors, including demand and capacity planning. Provide on-site support to the brands in order to identify points of improvement and coordinate the projects (Travel total time is estimated to about 20%)
- Strategic Support: Assist the Area Manager in identifying development strategies for supplier collaboration and planning tool applications, and propose roadmaps for application evolution
- Risk Management: Handle constraints, risks, issues, conflict escalation, and negotiations to normalize and recover from critical events, whether predictable or unexpected
- Service Management: Be responsible for application services and SLAs
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the dedicated budget (capex and opex for the applications in scope)
- Team Support: Support and leverage the strengths and competencies of the team
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Professional Experience: Proven experience of at least 6-8 years in large, complex, and international companies
- Domain Expertise: Knowledge of collaboration and planning tools for the fashion industry, and core production concepts such as progress tracking, MRP, and production master data (BoM, routings, article master). Solid understanding of integration patterns, middleware technologies, and production system architecture.
- Technical Skill: strong knowledge of Excel, and Power BI, Qlik or GCP are considered as a plus
- Knowledge of GPS Planning tools, WSE/SSC tools, or other collaboration or planning tools
- Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with others and build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French is considered a plus
