- Own the platform electronic architecture for the product generation.
- Decompose the overall system into electronic modules, defining modular design architecture for reusability.
- Create and maintain the electronic engineering module catalogue and configure modules for different projects.
- Evaluate the maturity and reusability of hardware modules.
- Contribute to electronic requirement reviews, assessing feasibility and proposing optimizations or deviations when needed.
- Define internal component-level requirements and derive interface specifications.
- Lead and contribute to decisions on the creation of new modules or module variants.
- Design, simulate, and develop PCBAs for oil pump controllers and industrial motor drives.
- Collaborate with suppliers on the development and simulation activities.
- Perform worst-case analysis, hardware calculation reports, and define electrical protections.
- Create and review all necessary hardware design outputs:
- Debug and resolve issues related to EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal performance.
- Conduct and support hardware integration testing and generate Hardware Integration Test Reports.
- Collaborate with supplier team for realization of AOI, FCT, and ICT validation.
- Provide support for DFMEA and risk assessments for design robustness.
- Work closely with firmware developers, mechanical engineers, and testing teams to ensure system compatibility and integration.
- Participate in project reviews, gate reviews, and design for manufacturing (DFM) activities.
- Support design reviews and audits for ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other relevant automotive standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hardware design for automotive or industrial applications.
- Proven experience in designing and debugging motor control PCBAs and automotive electronic control units (ECUs).
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI design principles and compliance testing.
- Proficiency in tools such as Candence OrCAD Tool chain, CAM 350 or equivalent.
- Familiar with industry standards: AEC-Q100, IPC standards, etc.
- Familiar with FMEA, WCA, thermal and electrical simulation tools.
- Strong Time Management and collaboration skills are essential
- Experience in automotive sector.
- Hands-on experience with DC-DC converters, gate drivers, current sensing, and sensor integration.
- Exposure to Model-Based Design, Simulink, or MATLAB for system-level modelling.
- Understanding of CAN, LIN, or other automotive communication protocols.
- Soft skills of Critical thinking, Attention to detail & Interpersonal communication
- Familiar with industry standards: ISO 26262
