- Leading front-line sales activities across Italy, engaging directly with OEMs, end users, and partners within the Food & Beverage, Packaging, and Material Handling sectors.
- Managing a portfolio of strategic and mid-sized customers, identifying business opportunities and fostering long-term relationships.
- Defining and implementing sales strategies to achieve and exceed growth targets, while adapting to competitive market dynamics and customer needs.
- Handling complex negotiations and ensuring successful closure of technical-commercial offers in close cooperation with Application Engineers and Technical Support.
- Collaborating with the Italian sales team to support customer engagement and enhance sales results across the country.
- Monitoring sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to enable accurate forecasting and proactive planning.
- Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Service to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Ensuring consistent CRM use and data accuracy to promote transparency, effective reporting, and ongoing improvements.
- Educational background in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, energy, or related fields.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in B2B sales roles within multinational, medium-structured organizations, preferably in technical areas related to automation and drives/inverters.
- Deep knowledge of the Italian market with a focus on the Food & Beverage, Packaging, and Material Handling sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex commercial negotiations and build strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic customers.
- Strong results orientation and ability to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside distributed sales teams.
- Market and trend analysis capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
- Knowledge of main CRM tools and reporting and forecasting processes.
- Excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
