For all relevant suppliers, this role must ensure compliance with PVM quality and food safety requirements, PVM policies / procedures and relevant regulations.This role reports to Quality & Food Safety Director.Location will be flexible in EU.What you will do
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and food safety programs across the global supply chain;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and food safety across the global supply chain;
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement;
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards including Group Policies;
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier quality and food Safety; develop and implement risk management strategies;
- Provide training and support to suppliers and internal teams on quality and food safety standards and best practices;
- Maintain and further develop the Global Supplier Database;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Supply Chain, Regulatory and R&D, to ensure alignment on quality and food safety objectives;
- Ensure proper communication of Q&FS requirements to suppliers and internally;
- Manage complaint linked to suppliers;
- Manage requests raised by authorities linked to suppliers;
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements in established standards;
- Promote a Q&FS Culture towards suppliers.
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field;
- At least 5 years experience in quality and food safety, preferably in the food industry in a global supply chain context;
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety standards and regulations;
- Experience and strong knowledge in Supplier Quality (approval, performance evaluations, audits; agreements, Material specifications…);
- Certified auditor certificate is a plus;
- Strong leadership skills to drive quality and food safety initiatives across the organization;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to successfully negotiate, communicate and drive the business;
- A true relationship builder with suppliers, customers, colleagues and strategic partners as well as with internal teams;
- Speak and write English fluently;
- High degree of self-organization and detail-orientation;
- Project Management skills;
- Deal well with high complexity and change;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
