In 2024 Italdesign obtained the Top Employers Certification for the ninth consecutive year.PositionItaldesign is expanding its activities in the field of System Integration at different level.As member of Integration team you will be involved in different projects to integrate new/modified component or system in existing Group platforms.System Integration is referring to different relevant task into V-Model, as Integration Management, Test management, Configuration/compatibility management and Hardware/Software release management.Integration Management controls the integration of the networked functions until the timely E/E networking release is issued. To manage project milestones, this department prepares and distributes a weekly E/E status report and an E/E integration report at the end of each SW/HR release. The described and underlying reporting system is presented in intervals of up to one week in appropriate committees.You will be part of an interdisciplinary, networked and Agile team. Together with Integration specialists you will be part of the development process for pre-series and series vehicle.Responsibilities
  • Create the planning of relevant functions and monitoring;
  • Create the planning of relevant integration components and monitoring;
  • Interface with development department for change request evaluation and periodical report to the Management and Client;
  • Create of E/E integration planning and monitoring in specific tool, including an overview of ECUs that are subject to change;
  • Requirements-based recommendation for statements on target deviations or appointment changes from departments;
  • Target/actual comparison of Features maturity and, if necessary, ECUs maturity for each SW release;
  • Create complete E/E integration report including the above mentioned content;
  • Present the E/E Integration status at Management Meetings.
RequirementsKey requirements
  • Automotive (OEM, Tier1, Tier 2) experience required;
  • Experience in the series functionality concepts and the related communication implementation;
  • Knowledge on ECU electronics and vehicle networks, on embedded SW;
  • Experience in Project Management;
  • Experience on requirements engineering/management using specific tool;
  • Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team;
  • Show initiative and work in a structured way.
Preferential requirements
  • Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software System requirements and specifications;
  • Experience to learn the various engineering management systems (System42, KVS, Jira, Confluence, etc.);
  • Experience with Gannt or Project Management tools.
Other informationEducation: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or similar.Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
