- Within EMEA there are 42 countries where there is the requirement to source Controllers and Electrical components not manufactured in Otis for mainly Mod projects. This may be for specific existing competitor elevators that Otis require to upgrade or new Customer projects with specialist requirements. Across EMEA this is a substantial spend with clear potential for improved performance via a specialist category management approach.
- In 2025 the Supply Chain structure is transforming to centralize this area of sourcing. Previously led within each country, now a specialist will lead on the procurement across all countries, focusing first on the highest spend areas / repetitive nature of the requests.
- This new role is an exciting chapter in the Otis Customer focused delivery model, to provide subject matter experts in key delivery areas, and to support our internal / external customer requirements.
- Initially there is one direct report as a Sourcing Analysist to manage the requests, RFIs and support as required.
- This role reports to the EMEA New Equipment and MOD Sourcing Director.
- Demonstrated experience in driving large scale organizational and process change
- Leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization and leading a team to achieve results
- Ability to apply strategic thinking, with strong sourcing, negotiations, and contracting skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and excel in a dynamic global environment
- Ability to develop talent with individual development plans and robust employee engagement
- Flexibility of daily schedule allowing for effectiveness in a role with global interactions
- Fluent in English, Italian. Good German knowledge is a plus
