Our production plants are in Pescara and Campochiaro in Italy, in Porto, Portugal and in Gebze, Turkey.PositionWe are looking for motivated Engineer to join our Engineering team within Technology Innovation area with passion and track of industrial automation and digitalization related academic and/or professional contents. This is a great opportunity to grow within an innovative industrial environment, contributing to the development of new products/processes.As part of the Engineering team, you will work on innovation projects aimed at improving or developing new products, processes and automations, upgrading or implementing new industrial and intralogistics systems. You will work within a multifunctional environment covering all engineering and product development capabilities, including also field and laboratory testing and commissioning activities in our production sites.Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute innovation projects related to production systems, including converting and packaging equipment, controls and automation, robotic cells, AGV fleets, etc.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models and simulations that support equipment design, quality and process control systems implementation.
  • Continuously scout and study industrial innovations both on hardware and software, taking also advantage from production data analysis to identify quality, process, costs optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for projects feasibility and implementation (e.g., operation, supply chain, marketing, etc)
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (fields like Automation, Robotics, Control Systems are preferred but not mandatory) or Scientific background (Mathematics, Physic, Data Science)
  • Up to 4 years of experience in structured companies is a plus - however, we also welcome applications from students or recent graduates with limited experience in the field
  • Knowledge of automation systems, robotics, vision systems, and data science principles according to the gained experience
  • Familiarity with programming, simulation and modeling tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, PlantSimulation, ProcessSimulation, SolidEdge, CFD, FEM, ect) as strong nice to have
  • Strong analytical and Model-Based approach, attention to details
  • Interest in combination of design and field activity
  • Italian and English language proficiency (written and spoken)
