RINA is currently recruiting for a Personnel, Welding & Pressure Equipment Certification Compliance Scheme Leader to join its office in Genova within the Certification Compliance & Technical Support Division.MissionA Certification Scheme Leader ensures that products, services, or systems meet the necessary International, National and European Union (EU) or Accreditation Body or Certification Body or industry safety and conformity requirements. #LI-GZ1Key AccountabilitiesSupporting the team in planning, establishing and monitoring the certification product and personnel schemes that define the criteria and procedures for certifying products, services, or systems. This involves setting clear guidelines for certificationDevelopment of RINA Rules and relevant documents in order to obtain and maintain the accreditationInteract with manufacturers and clients, addressing their inquiries, providing guidance on compliance, and building and maintaining positive working relationshipsContinuously evaluate and improve the certification scheme, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and alignment with industry best practiceMaintain detailed records and reports related to product certifications, audits, and compliance activities. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodiesEducationBachelor's DegreeHigh School Diploma/GED in Engineering GeneralQualifications
  • Knowledge of the certification sector of systems, products and personnel
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft package (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Availability to travel nationally/internationally
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Experience in activities conducted by Certification Bodies or in roles relating to the certification of systems, products and personnel would be beneficial
  • IWE or IWT Certification - int weld Eng/Technician - would be highly advantageous but not essential
