- Conduct and conclude in the best interests of the company the negotiation of the Italian commercial agreements with the defined portfolio of customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, market analysis and networking.
- Manage and optimize the execution of negotiated counterparties by relying on the various departments of the company. Proactively recommend any action to maximize brand and business performance.
- Pilot and manage the specific approach by customer (assortment, exhibition, promotion) with the Category Development team and the Field Sales Force.
- Build annual budgets by customer, recommend objectives as well as follow-up actions and corrective actions necessary.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the commercial strategy and marketing plans.
- Ensure the reporting of financial conditions to Customer Service and Finance. Pro-actively manage cash flow issues with the Controllership team (payment terms, customer discounts, penalties, etc.) via the company's internal tools.
- Monitor and communicate to the Demand Planning team the forecasts relating to the assortment and promotional actions via the appropriate tools.
- Develop the strategic and organizational knowledge of the Client. Build a network with different stakeholders (purchasing, category management, supply chain, stores, ...) and at different levels of the organization to gradually establish the company as an essential partner.
- Coming from a higher education type business school, you have a confirmed experience (3 to 5 years minimum), ideally on categories of non-food products:
- on a commercial function involving negotiation
- on a Category Management function
- You know and master perfectly the operation of the brands of Large Distribution.
- You have therefore developed a precise vision of the National negotiation relationship, have a proven appetite for the commercial relationship, and in particular the negotiation.
- You have good interpersonal skills, a capacity to resist pressure, perseverance, persuasion and responsiveness. You know how to organize and prioritize.
- You are proficient in English.
