Ensure that all administrative processes comply with local laws, fiscal regulations, and group policies while delivering efficient and standardized services. Drive operational excellence and innovation through data analytics, process reengineering, and the adoption of advanced digital tools, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with the Company's strategic goals.Key accountabilities
  • Oversee end-to-end administrative processes-including Invoice to Pay, Order to Cash, General Accounting, and Fiscal Fulfillment-across 29 legal entities and 1 branch in Europe, EEMEA, Americas, and APAC.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, legal frameworks, and accounting standards, acting as liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define governance frameworks, standardize processes, and implement scalable, efficient solutions across geographies.
  • Lead a team of direct reports and internal HC and coordinate our BPO service leaders to ensure high service levels and consistent process delivery.
  • Manage contracts and performance of BPO providers, overseeing the annual budget assigned and ensuring SLA/OLA compliance.
  • Continuously monitor KPIs and service performance using digital tools (Power BI, Service Now, Process Mining), driving actionable insights and process improvements.
  • Foster strong partnerships with key Barilla functions (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Digital, Legal, etc.) and external stakeholders (Auditors, Tax Authorities, Consultants) to align on priorities and respond to new regulations or business needs.
  • Promote a strong people management culture focused on capability building, upskilling, and organizational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing complex and extended Finance & Administration processes
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • High digital literacy: expertise in SAP, Power BI, Process Mining, Robotics, and other automation tools
  • Deep knowledge of international accounting standards, local fiscal regulations, and statutory reporting
  • Proven track record in managing outsourced services and vendor contracts
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience leading multicultural and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a structured and data-driven approach
  • Ability to drive innovation, transformation, and operational excellence across multiple geographies.
