We are growing our team and looking for those interested in pursuing this dream with us and joining an ever-developing journey.THE ROLEWe are seeking a proactive and skilled RV/Campervan Workshop Manager to oversee the operations of our new in-house workshop in Ferno. The ideal candidate will coordinate a team of mechanics, establish repair priorities, manage spare parts and stocks, and maintain budgetary control, all while upholding high standards of quality and safety.WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?Team Management:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Workshop Operations:
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues or complex repairs.
Inventory and Spare Parts Management:
  • Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement cost-control measures.
Budget and Reporting:
  • Track and report on workshop performance metrics, including repair turnaround times and budget adherence.
  • Propose improvements in processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Candidates with certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a similar program in the automotive industry;
  • Candidates with at least 10 years of proven experience managing a workshop;
  • Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in campervans or similar vehicles;
  • Knowledge of stock and spare part management systems.
  • Budget management experience and a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You're fluent in Italian (mandatory) - English is a plus.
  • You're eligible to work in Italy, have a valid driver's licence and feel confident enough to drive a campervan (mandatory);
  • You're available on weekends and public holidays.
