- Develop and maintain an in-depth product knowledge through regular visits to Frette stores across the EMEA region (Italy, France, United Kingdom) and competitor stores.
- Collaborate with the Global Director of Merchandising & Planning and the Product Development team on new product launches, contributing to assortment strategy definition, identifying missed opportunities, and analyzing past and current collection performance.
- Define and manage the assortment plan (core and seasonal) in line with Brand strategy and sales and inventory targets.
- Make timely and independent decisions based on business needs and data analysis related to purchasing, transfers, or exit strategies, even under pressure and with incomplete information.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pricing dynamics within the home category (bedding, bath, loungewear, decorative items, etc.), considering factors such as brand positioning, materials, craftsmanship, and market demand.
- Partner with the Marketing team to define product launch calendars and with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure product allocation and presentation are aligned with Brand strategy and enhance the in-store customer experience.
- Collaborate both proactively and reactively with Commercial teams (Retail & E-commerce) to develop action plans aimed at achieving sales and inventory targets.
- Deliver product training sessions to sales teams during new launches and rollouts.
- Process and analyze data to monitor performance, identify trends and improvement areas, and develop integrated action plans across marketing, sales, and related functions.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis within the home sector, including fabric and design trends, customer preferences, and distribution channels.
- Analyze sales results to identify risks and opportunities and propose strategies for underperforming products.
- Participate in strategic projects with management and cross-functional teams (supply chain, commercial, marketing, CRM, product development, visual merchandising, etc.).
- At least 7 years of experience in merchandising / buying & planning within the luxury sector
- Strong commercial and analytical skills

- Flexibility and strong organizational and prioritization skills in dynamic environments
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Degree in Economics, Management, or related fields; a background focused on data analysis, retail, or business management is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English
