- Own the proposal process end-to-end: from solution design and costing to final proposal delivery.
- Ensure all customer quotations are technically accurate, commercially verified, and delivered on time.
- Qualify RFQs and provide site surveys to confirm alignment with customer application and operational needs.
- Act as Solutions Architect by advising on technical solutions and benefits, ensuring suitability and fitness for purpose.
- Clarify scope with customers to improve quality and manage expectations between requested and offered scope.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates (materials, services, other costs) and define proposal strategy.
- Ensure smooth handover to Project Execution and follow up on quotations in coordination with Sales.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience
- Proven sales / business development experience in a B2B technical environment
- Background in industrial automation /process industries
- Affinity towards technology and innovations and good technical understanding of DCS systems
- CRM & MS Office tools
- Proficiency in English and Italian language
- Open to travel to customer sites
- Drivers license
- Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major Industry such as chemical, pharma, petrochemical, or similar
