Register your interest to join us in shaping the future of space.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and review finite element models of complex space structures.
- Perform comprehensive FEM analyses to evaluate the modal behavior and structural integrity of metallic and composite structures under various load conditions. These conditions include static and dynamic loads, with a focus on harmonic and random loads.
- Determine appropriate load environments for secondary structures, subsystems, and payloads.
- Generate detailed analysis reports, effectively communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Conduct correlations between numerical predictions and experimental results.
- Participate in static and/or vibration test campaigns on specimens and components as required.
- Develop scripts or tools to enhance results post-processing and obtain additional outputs when necessary.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in performing vibration and stress analysis.
- Strong theoretical knowledge in the analysis of composite and sandwich structures and its practical implementation through FEM.
- Profound understanding of structural dynamics.
- Proficiency in using MSC NASTRAN and PATRAN.
- Basic understanding of material characterization and application of failure criteria.
- Familiarity with standard test methods for composite and sandwich specimens and structures.
Desirable Skills:- Experience working with MSC NASTRAN Static and dynamic Superelements.
- Good knowledge in Python scripting.
- Familiarity with space standards such as ECSS is a plus.
- Experience in the field of vibroacoustics for space applications.
