- Highlighting possible machines’ downtime problems, in the various departments, identifying maintenance tasks and assigning activities and priorities.
- Control and manage the reordering of spare parts and calls to external suppliers for technical support or intervention needs.
- Elaborate, propose and manage the technological modernization plan of production facilities in line with the company strategy and product mix.
- Supervise plant modifications and related layouts, in compliance with the set time and costs.
- Researching, evaluating and monitoring the main plant and technology suppliers and keeping updated about technological developments in the sector.
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities managed by internal or external parties are carried out according to established safety procedures.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including mandatory inspections and certifications (e.g., grounding system checks, pressure vessel testing, lifting equipment inspections, and fire safety systems).
- Manage the Maintenance Budget and develop management and cost control indicators.
- Manage and develop the maintenance team.
- Experience in a multinational company in the plastic sector is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills are needed.
- Strong leadership skills and excellent ability in managing people, suppliers and internal stakeholders are pivotal.
- Good teamwork approach, proactivity and flexibility are required by the role and environment in which will operate.
- Fluent English is compulsory.
