Essential Job Duties
- Assist in providing COMSEC support services, including safeguarding and accountability of cryptographic equipment and materials.
- Help maintain accountability of CCI and keying materials.
- Operate basic approved encryption devices under supervision.
- Assist in coordinating COMSEC material actions with the CAM.
- Help verify clearance and access for HRHs. Participate in inventories of COMSEC materials and report discrepancies.
- Assist in the proper handling of classified materials.
- Report potential COMSEC issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2+ years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience.
- An active in scope Secret security clearance.
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 723 Certs: Security+ or CySA+.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs.
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
