The Bruno Kessler Foundation is a research and innovation institution based in Trento. The Foundation operates in a plurality of disciplinary fields and aims to achieve excellence in science and technology through 2 science clusters, one dedicated to technology and innovation and one to humanities and social sciences, organized in 12 Research Centers, and with more than 450 researchers. For more information visit https://www.fbk.eu/it/chi-siamo/ .The FBK Center for Cyber Security (CS) (https://www.fbk.eu/en/cybersecurity) develops digital technology and cyber security to foster collaboration between the various stakeholders through a combination of IT risk management techniques (in order to develop highly innovative security solutions that will mitigate vulnerabilities and reduce the risk of attacks) as well as trust management techniques (to improve the interaction between people and technology). As part of the FBK mission, which aims to achieve results of scientific excellence and to produce an impact on society, the Center's mission is to make these techniques available to the largest number of organizations, including SMEs, which account for a substantial part of the EU economy but lack cybersecurity expertise. To this end, integrating automated cyber risk assessment support with trust management that will have the ability to produce operational suggestions to assist ICT solutions designers, developers and administrators in their daily activities is critical. The activities of the center are implemented through its three Research Units: ALEPH (https://aleph.fbk.eu/), RiSING (https://rising.fbk.eu/), and Security & Trust (https://st.fbk.eu/).The Center for Cybersecurity offers multiple opportunities for internships to students and graduates. More specifically, the center opens two calls per year: one in January and another in September, roughly corresponding to the beginning of the first and second semester of the academic year. During a short selection process, students are selected based on their academic curricula and other information. In some cases, we may accept applications outside of these two periods; this is at our discretion.
