- Assess the needs of the company and provide new IT solutions and processes;
- Plan and analyze resources and costs related to hardware and software supplies for the OPIS
- information system;
- Manage domains, accounts and issues related to them;
- Plan and ensure proper backup;
- Install, maintain and monitor all the activities and functionalities of the network and resources;
- Ensure that all installed software is licensed and has maintenance/assistance contracts;
- Support contract negotiations to provide the service level required, establishing problem
- resolution procedures;
- Ensure the security of data against internal and external threats;
- Train on specific aspects of the information system;
- Maintain all documentation regarding the information system;
- Is responsible for new projects, maintenance of existing systems, operations of systems;
- Diagnose and solve problems (e.g. poor performance) and faults (e.g. system failure) occurring during operations, ensuring that account is provided with agreed levels of service and that
- needs for quality, security, availability and safety are met;
- Discuss with the Head of ICT and the ITSA the system changes, the impact on the infrastructure
- and critical problems;
- Evaluate design enhancements, capacity changes, contingency and recovery arrangements as required being aware of operational requirements especially in terms of service levels, network availability, response times, security and repair times;
- Review costs against external providers, new developments and new services, initiating proposals
- to change network design where appropriate cost reductions and benefits can be achieved;
- Obtain and evaluate proposals from suppliers of equipment, software, and other network service
- providers;
- Can be involved in all aspects related to the ICT Systems during audits and inspections;
- System Administrator
- High School diploma in information technology or scientific fields;
- At least 3 years of work experience, not necessarily in the same role;
- In depth knowledge of the installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows;
- Knowledge of networking issues;
- Experience in managing network services such as mail server, web server, domain, Active Directory, Firewall, Router and backup;
- English Fluent;
