- Lead the KWS vegetable business in Italy, achieving short- and mid-term business targets. Leading a Vegetable Squad committed to exploring new paths.
- Formulate and implement country goals in line with BU strategy. Doing so in collaboration with the Managing Director(s), Heads of Departments and HR Business Partner.
- Design and drive current and future go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Additionally, monitoring sales and profit performance of the country.
- Ensure the Italian business' compliance with local tax, labor, safety, environment, and health legislation. As well as coordinating legal and insurance activities to ensure execution in accordance with local laws.
- Coordinate activities between different functional departments within the country. Finetuning the functional structure within Italy as well as between Italy and functional divisions across the BU.
- Experience in the international vegetable seed business industry.
- Strong communication, managing, and interpersonal skills. Our Vegetable Squad in Italy is looking for a natural leader to help them pave new ways in the industry.
- Proven ability to steer and manage business operations, both on a product and sales level as well as in logistics and finance.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills. A leader driven by curiosity and keen to find solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with strategic thinking capabilities. Utilizing foresight and a hunger for fresh challenges to drive the business forward.
- Proficiency in English and Italian.
