In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our logistics and shipping operations, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Manage and optimize the entire shipping process, from order placement to final delivery
Health and Safety Compliance for External Contractors
Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations Billing and documents for transport/export (Invoices, Declarations of Free Export, Mandates, Preferential and Non-Preferential Origin Declarations, CMR)
Notification to Customs regarding the clearance instructions for incoming goods from the EU, along with confirmation of the purchase order
Identification of Customs Code for Goods
Biannual Dual-Use Export Report
Issuing of Work Account Delivery Notes
Identification and Labeling of Packaging for Shipment
Trasportation material managing for deliveries as well as for collections from subcontractors/suppliers, using our carrie
Management of material shipments with related delivery notes for consignment sales and warranty accounts, using couriers such as DHL, TNT, FEDEX, to our sister companies
Analyze shipping data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently
Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and documentation
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, or a related field in Supply Chain
2-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management
Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP (SAP) systems
Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with transportation and warehousing operations
Certifications in logistics
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Italian language is requested;
Fluency in English speaking/writing is requested

Additional Tasks:

Verification and monitoring to ensure compliance with the transport service contract
Verification and monitoring to ensure compliance with the Packing Contract
Verification and management of waste handling, including communication of loads/collections and request for waste tracking forms after disposal
