Increasingly complex risk models, more and more stringent regulatory requirements with ever tighter deadlines and new accounting rules are forcing insurance companies to perfect their financial reporting processes and capabilities.Your talent will be put to full use, enabling you to work with leading Italian and international clients, tangibly contributing to their success.For top-tier clients in the Insurance sector, you will join our Milan team working on life insurance projects. In particular, you will be assigned to various types of projects on:
  • finance transformation, including in connection with the adoption of IFRS 17;
  • capital management and Solvency II (e.g., internal model review and/or application and capital optimisation);
  • M&A: assistance in due diligence on both the buy side and the sell side;
  • technology change and analytics: developing actuarial platforms and automation processes, including with the use of AI and ML;
  • traditional reporting and audit support.
The ideal candidate must have:
  • life insurance experience with insurance companies, consulting companies or actuarial firms;
  • familiarity with IFRS 17 and Solvency II issues;
  • specialist degree in statistical and actuarial sciences or similar. Registration in the roll of actuaries is an advantage but not a requirement;
  • preferably, knowledge of at least one of the market software programmes for cash flow projections (Prophet, RAFM and MG_Alpha) and one of the main programming languages (R, Matlab and VBA);
  • excellent knowledge of English, preferably with experience abroad.
