Its turbogas fleet is already capable of burning between 40 and 70 per cent hydrogen, with the aim of reaching 100 per cent by 2030.PositionWorking closely with the project team, coordinate electrical design activities related to the system, both during the bidding phase and during execution, and make technical and economic decisions regarding system solutions for the above aspects.Main responsibilities:During the bidding phase:
  • Define the scope of supply for the aspects under your responsibility and based on the specifications, activating the costing process using dedicated company software
  • Ensure liaison with other engineering departments, partners, customers, PE, Sales, and internal assembly and start-up departments
  • Defines the plan of activities for the electrical engineering bid
  • Coordinates/prepares technical documents relating to electrical engineering, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • During the project:
  • Liaises with internal and external entities throughout the contract, during the design phase and during construction, assembly and start-up
  • Monitors compliance with the electrical engineering programme
  • Coordinates and oversees the design of the system for the contract and for the area of competence, identifying the optimal solutions from a technical and economic point of view, with the support of specialists and technical supply managers
  • Ensures that technical documentation is issued by specialists in a timely manner
  • Ensures the correct archiving and distribution of documentation, takes charge of comments from the customer and other technical bodies and collects or takes care of any necessary revisions
  • Supports technical supply managers in the technical follow-up of supplies
  • Contributes, if requested, to training activities for customer operators in areas of expertise.
Requirements
  • Degree in electrical engineering or relevant experience in the field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in electrical plant design
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly medium and low voltage systems. Basic knowledge of a generation riser and related protection systems is desirable
  • Focus on coordination, teamwork and an overview of the process.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Interdisciplinary attitude
  • Knowledge of English.
