This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for ensuring all Living Quarters works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Key Responsibilities Construction Supervision
- Manage day-to-day construction activities for the Living Quarters module at yard or offshore site
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & gas, and telecoms
- Oversee interior fit-out, finishes, insulation, cladding, and architectural works
- Coordinate installation of lifesaving systems, lighting, PA/GA, firefighting, and escape systems
- Interface with engineering, procurement, quality, and HSE teams to ensure efficient sequencing of activities
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for integration of furniture, galley equipment, HVAC, and utility systems
- Participate in daily coordination meetings and construction progress reviews
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications and relevant industry standards (e.g. NORSOK, SOLAS, IMO, ABS, DNV)
- Support inspections, mechanical completion activities, and HVAC balancing
- Ensure all works meet offshore habitability and safety requirements
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all LQ construction activities
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), scaffolding, hot work, and confined space procedures
- Report and support investigation of incidents within the LQ scope
- Support mechanical completion, punch listing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases
- Verify installation and functionality of critical systems (fire detection, HVAC, telecoms, emergency lighting, potable water)
- Assist with preparation of handover documentation and client acceptance
- Strong knowledge of offshore Living Quarters requirements including habitability, fire safety, escape routes, and materials
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary construction scopes
- Familiarity with international standards such as IMO, SOLAS, ABS, DNV, and NORSOK
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving capability
- Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings and specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- Post-graduate experience within oil & gas or major construction projects
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong reporting capability
