With around 1,600 specialists, the Business Unit generated net sales of CHF 1.4 billion in 2023.We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our sales team and drive business line expansion for Specialty Chemicals Industry (SCI) with DKSH Italy.If you possess an in-depth understanding and passion for chemicals distribution, particularly in paints, coating and polymer, together with a track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships, we welcome your expertise and invite you to be part of our team!General Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
  • Conduct timely and precise forecasting to establish predictable and recurring revenue targets
  • Achieve sales objectives within the assigned segment, while efficiently managing costs and gross margin
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners and customers
  • Lead negotiations and conclude deals with clients and customers
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Represent DKSH at industry events and trade shows
Functional Skills and Knowledge
  • Degree/Masters in Chemical Engineering or similar related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of proven technical & sales management experience
  • Deep knowledge of industry and trends for the Specialty Chemicals Industry
  • Strong negotiations and communication abilities
  • Highly motivated and target driven with high time-management skills
  • Excellent and fluent writing and speaking skills in both English and Italian
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
