Our innovative solutions help address some of the most important challenges for the future of our society.If you are passionate about power systems and protection technologies and want to make an impact from day one, this opportunity will allow you to express your full potential and creativity.Your challenge:As an Electrical Protection Engineer, you will contribute to the development and commissioning of energy automation systems for medium- and high-voltage electrical substations and power plants.
  • Configure protection relays (including SIPROTEC) according to functional and logic diagrams.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of electrical automation systems.
  • Support and execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) during commissioning activities.
  • Analyze fault recordings and disturbance waveforms using oscilloperturbographic records.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative and smart solutions for energy automation systems.
To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in protection engineering or substation automation.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with IEC61850 and digital protection systems
  • Experience with TSO or DSO in the substation sector is a plus.
  • Availability for business travel (site activities and commissioning).
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A continuous learning mindset and passion for professional growth.
  • Respect for diversity and willingness to collaborate and share knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
