- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our iOS app portfolio.
- Deliver simple, usable, and effective customer experiences, with strong attention to UI and UX.
- Collaborate closely with designers and fellow engineers (iOS, Android, frontend, backend) to ensure consistency across all consumer-facing applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and promote a “test early” mindset within the team.
- Stay curious and proactive about the evolution of iOS technologies, helping to bring new ideas that improve customer value and product quality.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them grow.
- You have at least 5 years of commercial experience in software engineering, a BSc in Software Engineering or Computer Science or higher degree non essential, but nice to have.
- Deep knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI and the iOS framework.
- Strong awareness of emerging frameworks, technologies, and architectures in the iOS ecosystem (e.g. Combine, async/await, …), and ability to evaluate their adoption.
- Experience with cross-platform mobile solutions (React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform) is a plus, but not essential.
- Solid familiarity with dependency management and build tools.
- Proven track record of releasing and maintaining apps on the App Store, including handling certificates, provisioning profiles, and submission process.
- Expertise with Git workflows, actively driving code reviews and maintaining high code quality.
- Strong understanding of microservices architectures, APIs, and common integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools such as GitLab CI or similar.
- Strong focus on testing and quality, with ability to instill best practices within the team.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and their core principles, with experience leading work within Agile teams.
- Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., fintech, trading systems) is a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken), Italian is a nice to have.
