- Contribute to designing and implementing an integrated Sanctions and AML controls framework (processes, internal procedures, IT systems and tools), in line with the Regulatory and Group requirements.
- Monitor new regulatory developments affecting the Bank’s products and processes; proactively identify potential gaps and drive remediation.
- Provide proactive compliance advice to the sales network and in bank projects, identifying and clearly disclosing potential risks early and defining clear mitigating measures.
- Support the execution of sanctions and embargoes-related activities such as alert management, complex investigations, report preparation, escalation management.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver ongoing training and education programs to promote a strong compliance culture and understanding of compliance-relevant matters; ensure timely and accurate responses to regulatory inquiries and inspections.
- Sound knowledge of key applicable compliance regulation (sanctions and AML).
- Ability and willingness to translate external regulations and Group requirements into clear and practical actions, engaging constructively with internal stakeholders.
- Strong diagnostic skills for compliance-related issues, with the ability to identify potential compliance risks and drive solutions to prevent them.
- 2/3 years of experience as Project Manager (preferably in a consulting firm) and in process optimization.
- Post-graduate degree in Business and/or Engineering.
- Effective communication skills at multiple levels (verbal and written).
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- Strength problem-solving, issue-resolution skills, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Curious, humble, “no task is too small” and proactive mindset.
- Ability in using SAS is a plus.
